Introducing our high-performance rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC-UH) water supply pipes, meticulously crafted from superior polyvinyl chloride polymer materials, enhanced with essential additives. With a minimum required strength of 25Mpa, these pipes are expertly extruded and molded, representing an avant-garde innovation in water supply solutions. This state-of-the-art piping system is engineered to surpass the mechanical properties of conventional PVC-U and PVC-M pipes, ensuring robust and reliable pipe connections.
Our PVC-UH water supply pipes are the pinnacle of modern engineering, achieved by refining the molecular chain structure of polyvinyl chloride. This enhancement results in products characterized by exceptional strength, superior pressure tolerance, remarkable ring stiffness, and outstanding internal and external pressure resilience. Perfectly suited for pipe gallery installations, these pipes boast excellent toughness, a high modulus, minimal shrinkage, and over 45% ring flexibility. Their superior impact resistance is ideal for accommodating stress fluctuations induced by temperature variations within the pipe gallery. Equipped with built-in plastic inspection wells, they deliver high-pressure sealing performance, ensuring a steadfast pipeline system. With straightforward installation and expedited construction, these pipes offer the advantages of low maintenance costs combined with a pipeline system design life exceeding 50 years. They represent a low-investment opportunity with unparalleled cost-effectiveness.

PVC-UH Water Supply Pipe Trench Excavation Standards & Backfill Quality Guidelines
1. Ensuring Proper Trench Excavation Practices
To prevent the risk of laying pipelines within the permafrost layer, it is crucial to determine the trench excavation depth by thoroughly evaluating local data. Proper execution of backfilling and tamping operations is essential to mitigate bending stress, thereby averting pipeline and interface cracking. The following guidelines should be observed:
(1) The trench alignment must be precisely straight. The trench's bottom width must exceed the pipe's outer diameter by at least 0.5m, ensuring a total width not less than 0.7m.
(2) Maintain strict control over the groove's bottom depth, avoiding excessive or insufficient depth. In instances where gravel depth exceeds desired levels, it must be backfilled and compacted to specified standards. Encountering hard soil or obstacles like stones during trenching can complicate construction. To ease construction challenges, workers might deviate the trench or alter its curvature, potentially compromising the trench's depth and leading to pipe bending. Such conditions can subject pipes, fittings, and joints to bending stress, risking joint leakage or rupturing due to increased water supply and pressure.
2. Avoiding Permafrost Foundations and Ensuring Trench Stability. During winter construction, it is vital to position the trench bottom on undisturbed soil or a stabilized backfilled base. If the soil is moisture-laden and lacks density, thawing during warmer months could cause foundational sinking, leading to pipe settling, bending, and joint failure. Minor shifts might result in joint separation and leaks; severe conditions could rupture the pipes.
3. Adherence to Regulations for Winter Pipeline Bonding
The core component of the PVC-UH bonding adhesive is a PVC-UH solvent. This adhesive works by coating the inner surface of the socket and the outer surface of the spigot, causing surface expansion or dissolution. During socket insertion, pressure unites these surfaces seamlessly. The solvent's volatility leads to solidification post-volatilization without compromising substrate strength, ensuring the bond meets pressure requirements.
Appropriate adhesive application is crucial-insufficient amounts fail to secure sealing or strength, while excess adhesive may spill, corrode, and soften pipe walls, increasing crack risks under water pressure. Low temperatures exacerbate this risk by slowing adhesive volatilization, allowing deeper penetration and weakening the pipe wall's strength.
Thus, bonding procedures must rigorously adhere to specified standards. The adhesive quantity should be calibrated so that minimal overflow occurs post socket insertion, which must be promptly wiped clean. During application, ensure outward progression to prevent adhesive intrusion into pipe interiors.
4. Managing Thermal Expansion and Contraction in Pipes
PVC-UH water supply pipes exhibit a thermal expansion coefficient of 0.07mm (m · ºC), surpassing traditional pipe coefficients. Careful attention to longitudinal deformation due to temperature variations is necessary, particularly in systems sourcing water from surface bodies.
With the adaptable scalability of the rubber ring connecting pipe interface, expansion and contraction issues become a thing of the past. However, when it comes to bonded pipes-particularly those that are open-it's a different story. Once bonded, these interfaces are rigid, lacking the flexibility to expand or contract. Without the presence of an expansion joint, any significant stress due to expansion or contraction can be detrimental, exerting immense pressure on the pipe itself or its fittings.
The art of pipe connection unveils itself in multiple methods: solvent adhesive, elastic sealing ring, and integrated rubber ring connection. Beyond these, the versatility extends as these pipes can seamlessly integrate with other types, such as cast iron pipes, through the use of flanges or other suitable adapters, ensuring a cohesive and efficient water supply system.
Connection Procedure: Start by thoroughly cleaning the working face - apply lubricant generously - perform precise counterpart insertion.
1. Prior to installation, it's crucial to conduct a meticulous quality check of pipes, fittings, and rubber rings. Ensure that the working surfaces of both the socket and counterpart socket are impeccably clean.
2. During the installation process, the strategic orientation dictates that the socket should ideally face the direction of incoming water, facilitating optimal flow.
3. Generously apply lubricant to both the rubber ring and the insertion area. Careful attention is needed to apply just the right amount, preventing any overflow into the socket groove, which could reduce friction and potentially cause the rubber ring to roll over. A mixture of detergent and soapy water serves as an effective lubricant.
4. Achieve perfect alignment of the socket ports, ensuring the pipeline axis remains perfectly straight, ready for a seamless connection.
5. Equip both sides of the socket with suitable wire rope sleeves, then skillfully pull these into the reticle using a tightener or hand wrench. For medium-caliber pipes, utilize square wood to pad the port and gently tap it into the socket with a mallet, achieving a secure and stable fit.
